Hi,
I've found the facility to download and edit material recorded on the 9200-T most useful, the only snag being that I have to take the lap top to the 9200. Has anyone any experience of a wireless device that can plug into the usb port and be accessed via a normal wireless network? The nearest I have found is a Belkin F5D7231UK4P which the nice man in PCWorld " thinks " may work. Has any one tried this idea and if so how and did it work? -- Bill |

If you were to buy it I'd get a written undertaking from PC World that you could get a refund if it didn't work. If you're less than 5m away then you could get a 5m usb extension, otherwise the item at on the link may do the job with a long network (Cat5) cable, although it's expensive. http://www.lindy.com/uk/productfolde...2801/index.php Dave |

Unfortunately I can't offer any advice, although I'm interested at what the
9200 can potentially offer. Are you able to record a Freeview radio programme in MP3 and transfer it directly to another computer? Is the file in MP3 format or does it have to be converted? Thanks in advance. dagi. "Bill" wrote in message ... It has to be converted, the same as a TV recording. (I haven't tried it myself.) -- Max Demian |

It needs converting , but this is dead easy using this bit of software http://www.womble.com/ -- Alex "I laugh in the face of danger. writes When you connect the PVR to your PC does it appear as a standard device like a camera or USB stick which you can see with Windows Explorer or do you need to run special software on your PC to see the data on the PVR. Special software on the PC unfortunately. If the former is the case then you might consider an Asus WL-500g. If you need special software in the PC then you would also need special software in the Asus. Now if you had a Toppy you could download that special software! http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?m...2&l2=43&l3 =0 http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?s...717&view=links -- Bill |
