Toshiba WLT66 32" or Sony V2000 32" LCD?

What Hifi states that the Sony V2000 is the best 32" LCD, and Toshiba
WLT66 the second best. However, the Sony costs some £1,100 and the
Toshy only £720.

Does anyone know if it's worth paying £380 extra for a screen with a
Sony badge and one less HDMI input?

What the F**k do the journalists who work for an audio magazine know
about TVs? The same journalists who are recommending those TVs are the
same breed who believe that you need the expensive snake oil accessories
to get the best out of your audio system.

Err well it's called "What Hi-Fi Sound and Vision", they review both
hifi and home entertainment systems and have done for many years.
Granted their reviews of audio equipment are the expensive end, but
they really are audiophiles.

Besides, that wasn't helpful in choosing which TV to buy!

I've got the Toshiba and it's pretty good picture-wise - issues I have
include the xmas cracker remote, only switches off properly by pulling
the plug, and the PC input won't display widescreen natively.

To my uncritical eye I find the big brand LCDs to be much of a muchness
in terms of picture quality, with the ability to display shades of
black-to-grey a possible divider.
