OK folks, just to complete the loop, and before going back up the
chimney etc., I've tried a variable gain masthead preamp and it makes no difference, which tells me that the DAT45 just isn't getting the signal i need down the bottom at 21/22. So, unless anyone thinks otherwise, it's over to a Goup A and stick with Palace. What i WOULD appreciate is any recommendations as to aerial to go for. Many thanks!
