As they always do. They also tend to have a polar response diagram that looks like a starfish. on ch21. Bill |

OK folks, just to complete the loop, and before going back up the
chimney etc., I've tried a variable gain masthead preamp and it makes no difference, which tells me that the DAT45 just isn't getting the signal i need down the bottom at 21/22. So, unless anyone thinks otherwise, it's over to a Goup A and stick with Palace. What i WOULD appreciate is any recommendations as to aerial to go for. Many thanks! |

If you can mount the aerial completely in the clear with nothing anywhere near it go for the biggest Antiference XG you fancy. Otherwise, use the good old Antiference TC18A. Bill |
