It's your imagination. The rules on the amount of advertising haven't
changed.

I've been reading a number of posts in web-based forums recently that seem
to imply that those people who have external DVD/VHS recorders connected
to their $ky boxes are increasingly getting their recordings blocked
because $ky has started to implement Macrovision encoding on certain
channels. I've seen reports of $ky's film channels and $ky1/2/3 being
affected.

I'm not a $ky subscriber any more, but I do still have a $ky box with a
DVD recorder connected for occasional recordings from the FTV/FTA channel
offerings.

Thus far, I haven't seen any problem. Are these reports correct, or is it
just people not being to operate their recording equipment properly?

Clem

That's dead clever how you replaced S for $. Amazing that.

But they pad out the breaks with endless previews, which has the same
effect - ****ed-off viewers.
