Default Sky+ functions disabled on cricket

Some posters on here may remember a query I had last year with the Sky+
functions not working on Sky Sports 1 when the Ashes was on.

I had totally forgotten about this until the other day when flicking through
the channels I decided to watch a bit of the 1 day series currently taking
place. I mis-heard a comment by a commentator and thought "no probs, I'll
just rewind that..." when guess what? No Sky+ functions again!!! It seems
that the problem last year was no glitch - it is a clear ploy by Sky!!

I wonder, if I phoned them and asked them to deduct a percentage from my
subscription as I do not have FULL functionality for long periods due to one
of their policies?..........

Indeed. It seems very odd.

It's Sky's legal department fearing that anyone insane enough to want
to watch cricket once is on the edge, but twice would certainly tip
them over.

Inzamam has paid them off lest anyone spot some ball tampering and try
to rewind it to make sure they did see it!

Are you sure it's not a known bug on programmes with very long
durations? (Such as, for example.. oh, I don't know.. erm... Cricket?)

Ummm... no problems here, on SS1 or SSHD1.
