I watched President Bush the other day giving a
speech about the evil men in Iraq who wanted to
get rid of the lawful Government.

Obviously, you are right. Some things probably shouldn't be said, but it
can't be said that the western leaders are always right.

There are no wrong questions, just wrong answers.

Which, when you get caught, will make things worse for you since you not
only had the prohibited dish but you also conspired to HIDE it.

Overthrow the government.

Just remember that prior to SKY satelite dishes required a home office
permit to erect on private property, to get a permit
you would have had to show what research you were doing to justify a
licence.

After SKY, you were restricted to the minimum size required to recieve SKY.
Also drag out a TV & Radio licence from that period and you will see that
you were only licenced to receive transmissions from transmitters licenced
by the UK authority.

Even now sat dishes are subject to more restrictions to other 'garden
ornaments', See what you have to do to park a 30 foot yacht in your garden,
then try and replace it with a 10 foot dish.

If Murdoch had not used his political power to set up SKY I expect we would
be asking how to make discrete dishes.

"Rogue state?" American Freedom is engulfing the world. Its a long &
painful
process because a lot of societies fear the evolution & if you don't like
it, fight & die. Many have & more will.

But will last a thousand years ?

Dear Sir;

Our race has been at war with itself since before we were able to denote
classification of ourselves as a race. We always seem to find an excuse to
provoke, snub, invoke, invade, occupy, erradicate...Jews & Muslims have
warred since Issac & Ishmæl. Then the whole Christ thing became a virus to
the rest of the planet in a race to infect the world faster than Islam while
both somehow killed many, many Jews. Yet, all three religions are of the
same deity.

How old are these religions compared to America's 230?

What percentage of our progress since the beginning of our recorded history
in those 230 years?

Whatever the religion, we have to co-exist, to tolerate. America is in the
business of doing business based on the collective knowledge every immigrant
& natural born American contribute to American policy.

Sometimes the wrong people are steering that ship. But progress is always
being made. Where was Deutchland before the Nationalist reconstruction?

When America elects a new president, they will have the best idea of what
they want in a leader because they will have 16 years of lessons to compare
& reference.

What the rest of the world needs to realize is that the dark government
operating within all our governments is controlling us through the media.
They have an agenda few of us are aware of. That is the plot to never
achieve world peace. The bible declares the world will end as we know it
after ten years of world peace.

The greatest conspiracy of all time is the generation of excuses for war on
small scales throughout the world. Most of which are religious. Or perhaps
the deity is behind the intrigue & perpetuates its lies to see if we
continue to kill each other.

Either way, if people could communicate civily, we could all take part in
the progress of our race. If only people could share ideas without killing
each other for it

Abolishing secret prisons and detention without trial
might help too.

I believe America signed up to the UDHR

Article 9
No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest, detention or exile.

Article 10
Everyone is entitled in full equality to a fair and public hearing by
an independent and impartial tribunal, in the determination of his
rights and obligations and of any criminal charge against him.

Curiously, dish size was determined by Arthur C Clarke in his paper 'Extra
Terrestrial Relays' published in 1945.

Having not read it I can't say you are wrong, but two parts of the equation
would be transmission power and signal to noise of the receiver,
both of which would be difficult for AC to consider as they are so dependent
on technical developments.

'Political power' is not and was not required. Money was. Lots of it.
SES's Astra satellite venture, based in Luxembourg, is a commercial
venture.

In the quantities involved money and political power go hand in hand.

Ah, a perfectionist. I feel the same way.
Terrorism is a bitch, too. At least Ireland is on the mend.

It helps that America has decided that supporting
terrorism there is a bad idea, although Noraid is
still around.
