lol, yeah i do object to the spamming especially since most people reading
this group will likely know or be able to find out any info needed.

that said to joe consumer looking to spend a couple of grand on a tv a
guide may be worthwhile if only to reduce the ammount they get ripped off
by.

Personally i aint buying dick till i can get a 1080p unit, my cable
service provides hdtv feeds (ntl are crap and it could be over a year) and
hopefully prices drop/the tech matures a bit.

I had an uncle who didn't want to buy a color TV until they 'perfected'
it. He died in 1983 with a black & white. He could have enjoyed what
was available instead of waiting for 'perfection'. Perhaps you could
take a lesson and enjoy while you can. BTW, there are progressive
displays right now. Ours is coming up on 3 years old

Haven't read it. Don't intend to. Anyone that pays money for this
shouldn't be allowed to watch TV.

"...known as..." What source or sources are there for that opinion!

Here's a positive source
Time Magazine cites the ebook by Alfred Poor on page A4 of Time Bonus
Section August 2006 in the August 21, 2006 issue of Time Magazine
