But I would like someone who lives down in SW to tell us if it is still off.

If you can't be helpfull please do not respond.

I live in Swindon, and it has been on here all the time.. BUT, and this
is a problem alot of people have been having since yesterday, my
Topfield box keeps rebooting when on the BBC MUX. It is not just
Topfield boxes, so they are having some sort of problems with their
transmittion.

If you don't want responses, don't ask on Usenet.

And don't tell me what to do.

Why not? *You* tell other people what to do. Hypocrite.

Any more info.?

Give us a clue?

Real question as Subject is the BBC Mux back on air?
Secondly any annoucements as to what caused the failure?

Subject was "Is it back today". You started a new thread with that subject
heading.

No he did not. He changed the subject and posted within the original
thread. That's a thread within a thread; a sub-thread of the original.
You're using Outlook Express which is either broken or you've set it to
"start a new thread when the subject changes". Threading is done on the
References: header.

I use agent & mine was the same. It showed a new thread saying 'is it
back today' with no link to the old thread. But I knew what the
original poster was on about anyway.

You need to change the option in Agent to not start a new thread when
the subject gets changed (pointlessly by David). I can't remember what
or where the option is in your antique version of Agent.

It's definately antique. Dunno if it's upgradeable or not. Think
I'll check out the web site, if there still is one.

Agent 4 came out a couple of weeks ago, and is upgradeable, although I
went the more conventional route of 1234.

If you want to change the way messages are threaded it can possibly be
found under OptionsGeneral PreferencesDisplayMessage List Pane

Tick the boxes /you/ want. HTH - my Agent is v2

Ask the question in the body of the article, not the subject, which you
pointlessly changed, thus losing context.

Secondly any annoucements as to what caused the failure?

Read what I wrote. Not difficult is it? Jeez, some people....
