I would like to know where I can get a review of sets that are available. I
would like to get a 55 or 60" set, but have no idea what is the best set on the market. I don't know whether to get a LCD, Plasma, or rear projection set. I am confused and don't know what to look at or compare to. I have cable TV and internet and plan on keeping it. I currently have a 60" Hitachi Ultravision analog TV which is about 9 and 1/2 years old. I have never had a service call on it. I plan on giving it to my daughter. I would appreciate you help in helping me decide what to get. Thanks |

After nearly a year it's been everything that JVC promised and more. But not everyone likes the soft image these sets provide, so go to a good AV store and see for yourself. |

I agree witht he others that CNET is a great place to start. I used it
to decide on a Samsung 50" DLP. It was delivered by BestBuy Thursday. So far, I love it. I just wish I could have afforded the 1080p instead of 720p. I took the Xbox360/Samsung deal they were offering last week. I love both. I had already decided on the Samsung TV anyway. I will also endorse CNET as a great source. I just bought a Sony 60"
1080p LCD Rear-Projection SXRD KDS60A2000. I love it so far. Tom wrote: I would like to know where I can get a review of sets that are available.
