You get BBC HD, ITV HD (with nothing on), and one or two programmes on
demand.

Not worth paying for at the moment.

No. In a few months it'll probably be exactly the same as it is now,
which is not even as good as Sky. It will most certainly never be
"better" than Sky unless Telewest break the habits of a lifetime.

Telewest's lineup of "standard" channels contains considerably fewer
channels than Sky and costs far more.

It's just a no-brainer. Whyever anyone would choose a poorer service
for a considerably higher price is just a mystery.

channels.

but they supply HD for free and 160 box and you don't pay an extra fee for
HD and the box is cheaper if not free not £299 like sky, so surely it must
be better and not poorer, not to bothered about the amount of channels but
if anyone could give me a list of the channels i wont get with the telewest
service i would be grateful.

This is a ng about sky and thyre watching - they'll break our legs
and/or screw up our dodgy boxes if we give out that kind of info here.
If you were to *ahem* google it you might find what you are looking for ....
