I have an old Toshiba Series 1 12-hour that was upgraded to 60 hours
with the addition of a 45GB HD a long time ago. Recently, the machine has been hanging frequently and my guess is that I have a failing hard drive in the two-drive set. This is a secondary Tivo that I no longer maintain a subscription for; I don't care particularly about the contents. What's my best course of action here? I do have spare HDs lying around that I can use. If the capacity diminishes, that's OK as I'm just using this machine as a manual 2nd tuner for my primary Tivo. Can I take an existing 2-drive system and consolidate onto one drive using the standard Tivo tools? Thanks. |
