Default TV flashing Standby LED - SONY kv-32fx60

Wonder if anyone can shed any light on this one. TV turned itself off
Wednesday night (2/8/06) leaving only the standby led flashing. When
the TV is in standby mode, LED is solid. When you press power on the
remote, standby led flashes. I think it may be the transformer has
blown - does anyone have a service manual to identify the correct
transformer or has anyone had this problem before?

All replies welcome!

What's the flash pattern? That gives a fault code which idents the
particular problem.

count the flashes. there will be a pattern then ask google.

This will tell you why the tv has gone into protection mode.
