Default HDTV Best Buy recommendations/Brands

Sorry if this has been covered before or is easily googled but I've
looked hard and had little success.

Where can I find a good unbiased best buy table for LCD HDTVs,
something like www.Which.co.uk

I'm particularly interested in which are the best brands, and the best
models.

If anybody wishes to give me specific recommendation then my general
requirements a
- 32 inch screen
- good connectivity, e.g. plug in a laptop
- budget up to £1500

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Charlie

The best LCD set I have seen is the 37" Sharp Aquos LC37GD7E. My son has had
one for a few months, the performance (SD and HD) and specification are
spectacular. He paid around £1300 from Watford electronics. (I think there
is a newer version available now with 2 x hdmi)

Avoid the LG brand, mine went faulty at 6 weeks old, went back to LG for
repair, after eight weeks they were still waiting parts, the dealer
swopped it for a Toshiba 32" and that seems excellent

I favour this
http://www.hyperfi.co.uk/default.asp...sung_SlimfitHD. Note that

That appeals to me

A CRT that does HD. Interesting

Yes, but the slim design means that the electron beams are being deflected
through extreme angles. This is not a CRT designed for optimum picture
quality, so make sure you can live with the geometry issues.
