Default Hopton on sea freeview reception

Hi.

I will soon be spending a week in hopton on sea, norfolk/suffolk border and
wished to take my freeview box with me, the freeview postcode alocator for
this area says that free view is NOT available, however looking at the
coverage maps Hopton is covered from Aldeburgh Relay which does not carry
freeview and also coverage is given from Tacolneston which DOES give
freeview.

Anyone from Hopton/ Around this area can you tell me if it is possible to
recieve the freeview pics from Tacolneston?

thanks

Lee

I think that bit of the coast is screened by the "sort of" ridge that
Mendelsham is on, so I somehow doubt it....

You want to take a bucket and spade and a packet of rubber jonnies and
forget television.

Bill

PS the mixed Norfolk/Suffolk blood round those parts means the girls are all
gagging for it!

My mother & brother live close by (Gorleston & Blundeston) & their
Freeview reception is fine. Neither address pass the post code check.

If the weather warms up again you stand a good chance of NOS from Lopik.

The proof - The Hits on my computer freeview box on the border of
Hopton and Gorleston (if you are staying in a caravan I hope you get
one with a decent aerial!) and if you are staying at Potter's you have
more money than sense ;-) )
