Default Blair + Cameron to speak at Murdoch gathering this week.

Steve Richards writing in the 'Independent' (Tuesday 25 jly) says that both
Blair and Cameron are off to speak at Ruper Murdoch's annual gathering in
America this week.

Richards reports that former Downing Street aide Lance Price wrote recently
that when key policy decisions were made the views of Mr Murdoch were always
taken into account.

What power has the Wizard of Oz.

Apart from the fact that Murdoch pays a lot of taxes in the UK and
controls vast swathes of its media, he is also a genius.

All political parties would do well to copy the efficiency of Sky's
recent broadband roll-out. I have never seen such a huge, multi-faceted
campaign executed so well and with such precision. If they gave him UK
citizenship, they might be able to get him into the Cabinet.

I have a letter saying "We can not supply broadband to you yet, and will
contact you later" BT offered it years ago.

May take the ?free? basic service when it is available.

You have to be kidding ;-)

method of accessing usenet. GG subscribers would be well advised get a
newsreader, say Agent, and a newsserver, say news.individual.net. These
will allow them: to see only *new* posts, a killfile, and other goodies.
