Is this true or are they all lying to me ?

So long as you already have a means of output (a TV, for instance) and a DTT
decoder, then yes, if you can get the signal at all.

It's true, you can now watch all the old films the other channels gave
up showing years ago for free :-)

The sad thing is that apart from watching Milla in the Fifth Element
there is nothing I want to watch. Film 4 seem to equate heavy, deep &
depressing with good. When all most of us want is a bit of hedonistic
escapism on a Friday night. Strange because C4 has got the idea :-)

Yes, it is almost like the guy on the train who sees at least 5 signs
saying the train is for Letchworth, then hears 10 announcements that the
train is for Letchworth, and still has to annoy the passengers asking
where the sodding train is going :-)

Film4 is free independently of the BBC.

of film4.
