I stopped watching the Scifi channel for that very reason.

Yes, they really screwed that one up. I used to watch it quite a lot
but get fed up of onscreen clutter

Not as a whole - but any new tv series they show .

Lets assume most people will watch a full series from start to finish .

What if sky three does one of those on screen kylie dogs like they did
the other week or like the one they did for battlestar a while ago .

If you refuse to watch sky three (or any other channel that does the
same) because you refuse to put up with that type of on screen ****e
then that means you will miss part of the tv series you have been
watching as a loyal viewer .

As later episodes might refer back to something that happened the
episode you opted not to watch because of the on screen ****e - then any
appeal the series had is pretty much gone .

To sum up , Sky three can **** up your enjoyment of a tv series any time
they want by doing one of those on screen kylie or battlestar dogs .

So , I'm now of the opinion that theres no point in even starting to
watch any new tv series on sky three - and - the odd one off type of
show has become the one and only thing sky three is good for .

Given that most, if not all, of $ky 3's output of late can be had on DVD
without all of the crap that $ky brings to its offerings, I tend to use
the channel as a 'taster' - if I like a 'new' program I'll pony-up for
the DVD set at some point rather than watch it on $ky.

Why is it that people with the email address ' are always
total morons, and seem proud of the fact as well!

Bcos of the ever-present threat of spam, numpty. Nothing to do with
their mental state IMO.

Hey numpty, you missed my point, which was that tends to be
used by trolls and general retards, such as 'Tel' above. Perhaps you'd like
to try it?

You made the assumption that the address is used by trolls and retards,
which isn't necessarily correct, and you're assuming that 'Tel' is such
a person. I don't see anything in his post that would indicate such. I
don't like top-posting, but I can't get that agitated about it either.

it appears that you are getting agitated about it! Haven't you got anything

Hence the reason why I don't do DOGged networks and do stick to
non-defaced media.

So that just leaves you BBC to watch.
Which you won't pay for...

Loz

All the BBC channels have grafitti on them as well, and most of them
have it full time.

When do BBC1 and 2 have grafitti on? (apart from programme specific context,
like the news)
No channel idents AFAIAA

BBC2 has a DOG during the night when they think people won't notice. I
haven't seen a BBC1 DOG for years. (Obviously during the night BBC1's
simulcast of News24 includes that channel's DOG).

BBC TWO is more than 40 ****ing years old. You would think that most people
would know that "2" is BBC TWO.

Why would anyone forget that they are watch BBC TWO in the middle of the
night? I've yet to find a sensible answer to the question.

During what used to be called children's hour, during a lot of
sporting events, and sometimes when they repeat things from BBC3 or 4.

LOL. Well not being a child, not being a football Neanderthal, and not
showing any interest in watching the sort of DOGged programmes that appear
on BBC FLAW and THWEE, that would explain why I haven't noticed.

You lot want to get a life! There's far more important things in life to
worry
about that a few bits of graphics on a TV screen that most sane people
really
don't care about. You want to try getting out a bit more and not rely on
watching the TV all day.

It's because of people like you that we have all that **** on screen,
which will only ever get worse. Why can't you just learn how to use
the EPG to find out what channel you are watching and what is going to
be on later like normal people?

They'll be the ones complaining when they have to buy the *Size of a house*
TV so they can see the programme they want to watch in that small square in
the middle of the screen that happens to be surrounded with Adverts,Coming
Next,Same,This time next week,Scrolling news and share prices at top and
bottom etc.

We buy WS-TV's and get slit sized DVD movies, I'm pretty sure Sky will find
some real good use for all that black wasted space given time!
