C5 from Emley Moor exhibited old-fashioned FM video type sparklies during
the height of last night's storm.

Earlier in the day the C5 (Mux A) satellite uplink was affected by stormy
weather too, leaving blank screens for a few minutes in most of the UK.

I wish we had a storm here. Barely any rain since early May.

There was plenty here in Swindon on Saturday, most of it actually in the
shops! Insurance companies must be ****ting themselves :-)
