I don't know this specific box, but doesn't *every* Freeview box get
the Freeview radio channels?

In theory, yes. But some treat TV & radio differently, like my old Nokia
box, and it might be assumed you don't need them, as you have DAB (just a
theory). And Windows XP Media Center Edition with Freeview cards doesn't
support radio (which is a bit crap).

One other thing. With only one aerial input, how's it supposed to get a good
DAB signal through the TV antenna? A TV antenna is tuned for different
frequencies, and in my case, points to a completely different transmitted
than my local DAB transmitter.

2 aerials one for DTT and the other for DAB and use a VHF/UHF diplexer.

Wow a remote control (useful).
The DABis a good thing I suppose, u r getting it free, whatever it
is.
But I would like to "try before you buy", see what the menus
are like, is the remote nice, easy to use etc....

XP MCE 2005 has supported the radio channels for some time now.

Because you might go through 5-6 boxes before
find one yu are pleased with.
