Default s-vhs from scart only B&W?

Using a scart to s-vhs and audio or a converter with s-vhs cable from
Digibox to Video projector - s-vhs connection only B&W - even says so on
projector menu - composite input is fine and colourful - what am I missing?
I've tried changing Pal settings (M,N etc) but no difference.
TIA

I think you mean S-Video. (S-VHS actually a video tape format.)

Maybe the source or the destination doesn't support S-Video?

Have you set the Digibox output to S-Video?

thanks - sorry - yes - s-video - only thing on digibox (Goodmans GDB3) is
CVBS - changed to that - TV scart still colour but Projector (auxillary
scart) still B&W when s-video and colour when on composite. Have tried
different make projector (one NEC other InFocus) but still no joy.
Any other thoughts?

The GDB3 does not do s-video, only composite (aka CVBS) or RGB.

Well if you had said the "Digibox" [1] was a GDB3 I could have told you
straight away that it wouldn't output S-video.

[1] A "Digibox", strictly speaking, is always a Sky box.

There is no S-Video signal on the Digibox Scart. Assuming you're talking
about standard Sky Digiboxes, the only ones that had S-Video output were
some Grundig models.
