Poss. OT, but...
What's the deal with these upconverting DVD players? Good? Crapola?
I have a six-year-old Pioneer SD532HD5 RPTV (with native 1080i) that still looks great. And a big stash of regular ol' DVDs. Any upside to one of these units over my trusty Pioneer Elite DV-05 player? Thanks all. ***AVG certified virus-free***

It will take those ol' DVD's to a whole new level.
