Anyone else tried this? I did a test recording of 'NCIS' on Five tonight
while I was out. I was rather surprised when I got back to find that it
had recorded!

Do you need "a compatible handset" for the SMS service?
I have a Sony Ericsson P910i which is not in the list but I heard Sky
had opted for the Symbian OS so am confused.

I have a p900i and SBM works fine on that. You can DL the application
from: http://mobile.sky.com/SBM/SonyE_novi...yWithoutTv.jar

Just install it and off you go. The thing to remember is the left-hand
option is the yellow button and the right-hand option is the green button
(you'll see what I mean when you run it.)

The SMS service works on any phone that can send a text message!

Tried it again twice today, it didn't work. Haven't even received a
confirmation text

Yes. But any (presumably UK) handset that sends/receives SMS is
compatible.

That's for the Sky by Mobile application.

Did you try without the definite article?

Yes, tried with and without. The search now appears to work, so perhaps
there was a problem with it when I first tried it?

Rats- Installation went OK but running it returns a KERN-EXEC Reason Code 3
and program closes.
Have tried installing to Phone and memory card - no difference.
All I have on the phone is TomTom
any ideas?

Hi,

I have downloaded the application but when I try to log on it comes up with
data error or lack of coverage?

Any ideas?
