Well they certainly claim to be Muslims and in many cases have the
support of a significant portion of their nation's Muslim population
They are committing terrorist acts in the name of Islam with
encouragement of Imams based in Mosques.

They may not be behaving in accordance with the more popular version
of the Koran but thats close enough for many people

Fair comment re certain Muslim 'support' but no-where neaar enough for
such a sweeping OP statement.
As the Catholic Church or any true Catholic followers if the IRA
actually represented them! but ask our church if the IRA were actually
representing them as they claimed! This said, many Catholics claimed the
IRA WERE representing the Catholic cause. If we accept this, in the vein
of the OP what does that make 'all Catholics'
