You need a feedhorn that will house both C and Ku LNBs such as a Chap Corotor
II Plus .

http://www.chaparral.net/products/fe...s/corotor.html

You will need a Ku LNB

The cable bundle leading to your dish should already have a spare coax, a coax
connection for each LNB is needed.

And the mesh in your dish must be small enough (1/4" or less, IIRC)...

And lots of patience to aim the dish...Ku is a lot more finicky about
aiming...

Receiver doesn't care if it's on C or Ku band.
Both LNB's convert down to 950-1450Mhz.

I think he was referring to a digital receiver to get the desired signals.
The original poster already has 4dtv, so that can get some of the signals.
A FTA DVB receiver would be handy to get a lot more.

On top of that, you'll need a guide to the signals such as lyngsat.com.

Also tracking KU digital is trickier than analog too. I spent hours
getting my 8.5 BUD to track the KU stuff. It still is not 100% perfect,
but still does a great job.

I have a 10ft aluminum dish with C and KU feedhorn. What signal would I
get with a 4dtv receiver? ?What type of receiver would I need to get
all DVB FTA? Are the Ku satellites that transmit DVB in same arc as C
and Ku satellites that transmit analog VB? It appears the small dishes
are pointed at a lower angle of trajectory that my dish.
