HD: Great but....

For some reason I can't record the BBC HD demo channel.

(and there's some specacular looking stuff on it)

I'm not that bothered, but thin end of the wedge and all that, it's
somewhat worrying that a channel can just disallow you recording it.

What next? Before long they eliminate *all* recording?

I wonder what the HD Sign Zone will be like, where you can't see the wonderful
picture because some fat woman is standing in the way of it, flailing her arms

May I ask how and on what equipment you want to record this?

What do you expect from a device that is deliberately slugged so as
not to work correctly?

The Sky+ and SkyHD boxes should both record and playback all channels,
all the time, without any sort of sub or card or authorisation being
needed as they are both capable of doing so out of the box. Until this
happens you can expect constant problems.

Goto manual recording settings in the services menu then you can set it
up to record BBC HD.

I assume using the HD digibox Sky+ function.
