Default I'm bloody annoyed :-(

Dunno if anyone here remembers, but a few weeks ago, I talked about
installing either Freeview or Freesat for a rather attractive young
lady. Anyway, common opinion here was that the Freesat option was
probably the best idea & I told her the pros & cons of both systems &
she opted for the Freesat option. I got her a box off ebay for £35
all in (price included p&p) & installed it & all was well. Anyway,
she now says she is unhappy as she doesn't get all the stations she
thought she would & wants her money back! She hasn't bothered getting
the free to view card from Sky as she thinks the £20 it costs for 5
extra channels ain't cheap. So now I've got to give her the money
back & hope to re-sell the box & not lose out (which I probably will).
It doesn't help that she is a massive fan of E4 & can't get that on
Freesat without subscribing, & she won't subscribe. I can't help but
think that she was talked into this position by my brother's ex-wife
(her best friend) who is a bloody pain in the arse. OK, I can install
Freeview for her (which will cost more than Freesat plus the viewing
card) but I can't guarantee a picture as she lives in a fringe area.
I made no money out of getting a Sat box, but I don't think she
believes me. Bloody wimmin!

Humm... Well I've a lorra theories on the way a wimmen's brain might
work, and that seems along the right lines.

I've given up advising people these days as whatever you tell 'em
they'll bugger off and do something different!..

But thats "gender neutral" as they say in new speak...

Well don't get involved, you should know what women are like.
I would tell her to go and sell the box and dish herself if she wants her
money back - SHE made the decision to have it and you helped out for free.
I wouldn't bother doing anything else for the ungrateful cow apart from
giving her the phone book.

I think that would be a proportionate response.

Seriously, I wouldn't entertain giving her any money back or doing anything
else for her. Marky, she's taking the ****!

Honestly, "treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen" is *so* true.

A couple of years ago my girlfriend started chatting online with some
other guy behind my back. So...

...I broke her jaw & cheek bone and knocked two of her teeth out before
breaking her back so badly it took 12 months before she could walk again
unaided.

She still tells me she loves me, and she's *never* looked at another man
since..

In my experience most, if not all, women desire to be treated like that
because it shows them you're a MAN.
