Default Decent CRT TV

Hi All,
I'm looking to replace my current TV with a CRT model. I don't want HD, I
don't want a plasma, what I want is a nice looking TV from a half decent
company that will ast a few years and give me a good picture quality. Flat
screen is pretty much essential, and the budget is between £300 and £400 all
in.

Anyone know of any particularly good models? I'm not going for an ASDA
best, I want a decent picture, but I don't need £3000 worth of the latest
technology :-)

Thanks in advance for your help!

It's a personal thing, Simon but right now there are loads of big CRTs
on bargain prices, due to everyone getting hooked up to plasma etc.
Sometimes a visit to Tesco or such is in order but you could just walk
into any Curry's or Argos and see something that is a bargain right
now and gone next week.

Yes. Got a good 28" WS Samsung CRT TV for under £200.00. There's also loads
on sale in Argos.

prices seem to swing quite heavily from shop to shop, some selling at
almost original prices while others have halved etc. My son bought a
Beko 28" widescreen for about £150 and his brother, who had bought
another make for much more came to have a look and was furious to find
that barring the cosmetics they were identical sets, right down to the
menu system.

Beko are one of *the* biggest TV manufacturers. They do indeed make sets
for well known companies.
