You can try it before you even get a card as BBC1/2/3/4 & ITV1/2/3/4 plus other channels do not require a card. Is there a chance I could ruin the alignment of the dish? I don't want to screw up our viewing. Do I need a particular cable? Yes. It's not just ordinary coaxial like you use for TV aerials. You need to get one that is designed for satellite. The are various standards & this page has more information on this than yo probably want to know:-) http://www.satcure.co.uk/accs/page8.htm -- Nigel Barker Live from the sunny Cote d'Azur |

The website is a bit confusing and not greatly laid out but I figure I need the H109FBL cable with F ends. I am just unsure about doing it myself. Is it really just a case of screwing the cable into the back of the LNB? I don't want to be fiddling with dish alignments or anything. |
