Why? It's a contractual obligation for all broadcasters carrying a feed from
India. Evidently it's not up for negotiation.

That isnt a need, it's an obligation. They should have negociated
properly so that they get a clean dog free picture and then decide
themselves how to disfigure it or not, as the case may be


As I said in my previous post this was apparently not a point that was up for
negotiation. The sponsors insisted on their logo being on every broadcast feed
presumably having paid a premium for this. That was the agreement that the
Indian Cricket Board had & that was what they presented to Sky on & every other
broadcaster on a take it or leave it basis. If the BBC had been carrying the
series they would have been obliged to carry the logo too.
