Default Scart/Audio Connection Problem

I have a problem with scart/audio connections and have the following
equipment:

TV- 2 Scarts + Audio outlet
DVD Surround System - 1 Scart +Audio outlet
Sky+ - 2 Scarts + Audio outlet
DVD Recorder - 2 Scarts + Audio outlet
Satellite receiver - 2 Scarts + Audio outlet

On DVD System remote I have controls for DVD, TV, Tuner, Line 1 and Line 2.
At present I can get TV, DVD player (Surround System), Tuner and Sky (Line
1) to work through speakers but cannot get DVD Recorder on Line 2.

Can anyone help so that all components/connections interact with each
other.

Many thanks

What exactly do you mean by "DVD Surround System"? Is this a DVD
player with built-in surround sound amp? Is this what you are trying
to get all the sound out of?

On the assumption that it is then it all ought to work, assuming that
you have enough audio inputs on the amp part. You don't describe the
audio inputs at all so it isn't easy to know.
