Default Basic Sky+ box upgrade questions

I am about to order a Sky+ box from Sky and subscribe to Sky multi room.

My current aging Pace system (which works just great but is soooooo....
slow) is currently connected via. the second TV output/coax/tv link
setup to a portable in the conservatory. This obviously means I can
watch the same sky channel in the conservatory as I can on the main TV.

If I upgrade to a Sky+ box and subscribe to multi room my Pace box will
be moved to another room (An upstairs bedroom is likely to be the choice).

So the questions I have are-

1 - Will the new Sky+ box have the same output as my Pace system in
order that I can just plug in the same coax and tv link I currently use
to view Sky in the conservatory.

2 - Will all the Sky+ functions work via. the tv link.

3 - Am I correct in calculating that the increase in my Sky subscription
will be £10 for multi room and another £10 for Sky+ i.e. a total
increase of £20 pm.

4 - If I also use the second RF output on the re-located Pace box to
supply another upstairs room will a tv link connected to this box affect
any operation of the Sky+ box downstairs.

Many thanks in advance folks you seem a knowledgeable lot so I am sure
somebody here can let me know the answers to my questions.

Yes, its the same.

Yes, but if you have been using a second remote and it is older than sky rev
4 software then you will have to buy a new remote. Have a chat with the
installer to see if he knows where to get a cheap one ;-). (Sky rev 4 and
newer remote controls can be programmed to operate Sky+ functions except
record)

Possibly, but if you have all the movies and/or sports then the increase may
only be £10 and not £20.

No

I can't see the point of having a remote that doesn't control half of
what the Sky+ can do.

I would just buy a new Sky+ remote.

Err...kids, food, clothes, mortgage, car, holidays, beer etc. They'll do for
the kids rooms whilst I save up!
