Anyone know of a device or service that allows me to call my Sky+ box and
start it recording a program
that I forgot to record before leaving home ?

Rumours have it Sky might launch such a service.
Likely to be via text message AIUI, but no time frame.

and this feature was mentioned in the blurb.

No... I think it just said 'soon'. I only threw out the flyer at the
weekend. Typical!

The recent software update has been known about for many months, so I'm
not holding my breath on the dial-in feature.
