Default Freesat - why bother

Why would anyone bother paying £150 for 'freesat', when you can get a
year of the basic package plus a free install for £150 ish?

In oups.com,
Ed rambled on about something in a strange manner:
Why would anyone bother paying £150 for 'freesat', when you can get a

Not all people are as knowledgeable as you.
Not all people want to feel "be-holden" to Mr. Murdoch.
Not all people want to be tied to a 12 month minimum contract.
Not all people want to have a phone line connected monitoring them.

Yadda yadaa yadda

And some people know that they're unlikely to remember to cancel, in time
