Default Sky+ with multiroom -- 3 cards??

Since Sky+ is effectively free with a full subscription, we
decided to go with Multiroom with Sky+ since we're moving house.

I am now very confused, as three viewing cards have just arrived
in the same envelope.

Having checked everything I can (without phoning Sky, which is a
last resort), I am fairly certain I have signed up for one free
standard digibox, and one subsidised Sky+ box for 89 quid.

I've also subscribed for one full package, one sky+ subscription (free)
and one multiroom subscription. AFAICS, the Sky+ box takes one
card (first subscription & Sky+ subscription) and the other box
takes another card (multiroom subscription).

So what the hell is going on? Is there a seperate "Sky+ card"?

That makes five in all. How did you manage that?

What did you have before you started changing things? Is this
something to do with the move?

Bingo.

Eh? No.

Full package (40ish pounds) + Multiroom (10 pounds) + Sky+ (0 pounds)

AFAIAA, Sky+ isn't a multiroom subscription, so I can't see why they're
giving me 3 cards. I have to phone them tomorrow anyway, so I'll find
out then.

Well, I'm moving from my parents home, so I had nothing previously
(hence why it's a subsidised box).

AFAICS, the Sky+ box takes one
card (first subscription & Sky+ subscription) and the other box

Bingo.

Well, if they've given me three subscriptions for the price of two,
I'd be happy (not that I have any use for the third subscription),
but I can't see that happening.

As long as you don't activate the third card you won't pay for it.

Or not. The solution is apparantly "give the cards to the installation
engineer, and let him sort it out".
