Default Yellow chevrons in epg

Can anyone tell me what the yellow chevrons mean next to some (not all)
programes in the epg? Some point to the right and some point down. I have a
Panasonic TU-DSB30. Also, Im not impressed with the new format - takes alot
longer to scan through the pages with the green button (

Oh well, progress....

The Chevrons pointing to the left indicate that the programme is
already being broadcast prior to first visible time slot.

The Chevrons pointing to the right, indicate that the programme
will continue broadcasting into the next time slot.

The Chevrons pointing down, mean listings continued on next page

You are meant to stay 2 chevrons apart to avoid collisions.

Ah, I see - that explains it all then. Thank you for your answers.
