Default Sky Plus charges

I have just had a second Sky plus box installed. Although I have the full
Sky sky sports package , two mixes and multiroom
they have increased my subs to an extra £10 per month per month .Is this
correct , i thought Sky plus was no extra even with 2 sky plus boxes if you
have a prem package .Tried to get through to billing but very long wait and
I dont feel oblige to up my phone bill while waiting for them.

The extra £10 will be for multiroom, not for Sky+.

It would cost an extra tenner even if you only had a standard digibox in the
second location. You're getting a discounted second subscription
effectively.

If you read it again he doesnt say he *already* had multiroom, he just says
what he ended up with. Its not clear if he had multiroom with an an ordinary
box then replaced with a +, or multiroom based on a new +.

Sounds like you're being overcharged then. Only way (I suspect) to resolve
it is to brave the 0870 number...

You could be cheeky and try to get some form of compensation for the error,
to cover your time and call charges if nothing else.

Finally cracked it ! rang sky only 13 mins wait not to bad
what happened is that they thought I had three sky cards my old card for
the standard sky box was not cancelled off
when the installer put the new sky card in , they thought I was running
three boxes .
Any way appears to be sorted out with there billing department and card
cancelling department
But then again ? will have to watch my direct debit with them
