Default £250 sky+ box pvr1

my pvr 1 is whining slightly, ive got a free call out from sky if they give
me a new box am i likely to be able to keep my pvr1 that cost me £250, so i
can put a new hard drive in it. Anyone know a way of me keeping it?

Are you saying this is an old Sky+ box that cost £250? Or another make of
pvr?
And why is the fact it cost you £250 relevant, its the cost of one now that
is important.

No it is part of the call out you have got that if the Sky+ box needs
replaced Sky will give you a replacment and take the faulty one away
