You're an idiot. To post incorrectly just for the sake of doing so?
You're a goddamned retard, little boy.

and your a child, you tell Allan he has now right to tell everyone how to
run the group but you do the same thing. Then when someone does something
you don't like you resort to school yard insult, you really should grow up.

What usual 50 or 60 fps? No material is transmitted at 60 fps. Current TV is
transmitted at 60 FIELDS per second, not 60 frames.

"Current TV" has many definitions, and in the US, "current TV" includes
HDTV, which *does* have 60 frame per second transmission. ABC, ESPN, and
Fox use 1280x720/60p...others may as well, but I don't know about all the
HD channels.

When DVD was first on the horizon, LD fans had said the same thing to
DVD. I won't replace my LD collection anytime soon, many titles won't
be available on DVD ever, etc.

I still have ~750 LDs, most of the titles are not available on DVD.

I only ever had about 600 total LDs, but I still have about 100 that
haven't appeared on DVD (or at least not in the same form).

I started buying DVDs a little less than five years ago. There's not
much price difference. Of course, certain titles become cheaper if
they're on clearance, or if they're replaced by better versions, but the
price of the "typical" new release DVD is about the same.

In some ways, prices have gone up since I started buying DVDs (almost 6 years
ago now). Back then, there were Internet coupons for $1 discs, or other
fairly huge discounts because the Internet was really starting to ramp up
the dot-com's about then, and stores wanted to get name recognition.

The closest thing that happens today is the twice-yearly 20% off sale from
Deep Discount DVD (although their current "buy one box set, get one free"
is pretty amazing, even with the limited 150 title selection).

Can you really be that ****ing retarded? The disc has to first be one
that is in demand, and possessive of a certain rarety.

You are so stupid, you do not even know what those things are. You
want to run out and dump your collection because you THINK that
something new is on the horizon. You couldn't be more stupid, and you
are now in denial that we have pointed out your stupidity to you.

If I had all your money, I would set up an institution for idiots
like you that do not have a clue what to do with all their money.
Then, I would confine idiots like you in it, and soak you for all your
cash, so you could feel like you are getting something that you are
paying for.
