Best option when moving house?

Currently had (ordinary) Sky for several years but will be moving house
shortly.

Is the best option to cancel the current subscription, and then take
out a completely new one when moved into the new place - that way with
the current specials they have on, I can get Sky+ installed free, and
half price package for three months (plus the old box/card to do with
whatever!)

Sounds too good to be true - can it be done that way?
