considering getting the new +, but someone has said its worth hanging on til
after Christmas (next year) for something Sky are going to be bringing out
which with be a HD sky/box etc, anyone know about this, I dont want to shell
out and then shell out again next year.
Cheers for any help in advance.

Sky are launching a High Definition TV (HDTV) service in the new year and
will be bringing out a new Sky+ HD (High Def) box to support it.

However, it is expected to cost around £400, and the HDTV service may itself
carry a subscription premium.
So unless you have, or plan to get a HDTV in the near future, you are
probably better off not getting a Sky+ HD box until you do, as the box will
no doubt have fallen in price by then.

Check out this dedicated Sky HDTV microsite - not got alot of info but its
right on the sort of LCD / Plasma you'd need and the connections to look
for - but silent for now on costs. Worth clicking on the link to be sent
