Amstrad PVR3 slowness

Had my Sky+ for about a month now with the above box. It is really quite
slow when switching channels or pressing the TV guide button. Probably
takes about 3 seconds to register. That may not seem much, but its alot
when I think about my previous Pace normal box which switched channels
instantly.

I am just wondering whether this delay is a "feature" of this particular box
or would be a fault?

It was the same for me Beck, I had that box for about 2 weeks and it was
dreadfully slow, coupled with the noisy hard drive !!!
They came out and changed it to a pace one which is miles better and the
remote works instantly (and its quiet as a mouse)

Thanks very much I shall give them a ring. The drive isn't noisy, its just
slow to change.
