Probably because they are fully conversant with gnomes, being indigenous

I wondered that myself.

Back on topic, Has Ireland got some hidden radio frequency law that differs
from here...Different government different laws or could be just the roll
out of these gnomes?

sour grapes because Ireland is further up the scale of rich economies
