If it's anything like the IDTV take up, I can't see the UK having many
HDTV's by 2010. The manufacturers think that the public don't want these
type of TVs

HDTV would be great if you particularly want to watch "Celebrity Chefs from
Hell, Get me out of here" in high-def, because there's naff all else on TV
these days.

That's the advantage of plasmas and LCds though, you just strap 'em on the

This is far, far more than I would have thought! Why would people buy an
HDTV when programming is difficult to come by and the TVs are so expensive?
