I recorded a film and it now wants a PIN number - never used them
before - but the dot has gone - yippee. There were some ducks crossing
road - I've not seen them before either - Do Sky control wildlife?

mine has gone a different colour as well; unfortunately the software
update scrubbed my planner so I've lost everything I was storing up to
watch, so I'm not a very happy bunny. I phoned support and they told me
to do a full reset. I've had the box less than 3 months so I'm not very
impressed.

Skys version of Format C: and re-installing the lame O.S.

I have 2Sky+ boxes and after the software update both Pace boxes are
version 3.057 whilst before they were 3.024. Is this normal?

This is just what happened to me when they introduced the "dual record"
software upgrade a year or so back. It's immensely frustrating. It was even
more so when a month after that the card reader failed on my box and I had
to get it swapped for a new one -- losing everything I'd recorded AGAIN.

Some kind of backup/restore solution for Sky+ would be nice...

I'd hope so - not much point in upgrading the software just to change
the colour scheme...
