I read somewhere that Sky are thinking about dropping the Sky+ £10 charge
totally. Has anyone else heard of this and when it might happen? -- RCE Defiant |

It would be an inevitable consequence of the plan to get all users onto Sky+....if Sky DO decide to go through with this! See http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds23613.html |

Your assuming that £10/m levied by Sky is worth it! £120 a year, that 3 VCR's or half a DVD recorder. I know the 2nd tuner, but if you spent £10/m on a second card for a second box, you could get better value out of your tenner. Regards Glenn... |

That's why I binned Sky+ off in the end as I couldn't bring myself to pay £10 per month just to record etc. The day they drop the £10 all together is the day I come back to Sky. I suspect they are thinking about it due to the amount of people who like me told them in their 'exit interview' that they weren't happy with that £10 charge. I think they only charged it in the first place due to Tivo's pricing structure at the time. -- RCE Defiant |

As I understand anyway, never used one myself. |
