Default PIN request problem

I recorded a programme on my Sky+ last night, when I went to view the
programme I was requested to enter my PIN, which was a surprise to me as
I've never set up any parental control functions. When I went to the
parental control settings I was again asked for my PIN. As I've never used
the function I cannot possibly know my PIN number!

Is there a default PIN number for parental control?

Phone Sky, and as long as you are the account holder, they'll reset your PIN
for you.

As the acronym PIN = Personal Identification Number, noone can possibly
know their PIN number (Personal Identification Number Number)!!

My wife had this. Blamed me for fiddling with it!
Sky said that films recorded after 10pm (?) had a parental control
thingy, needing a PIN to view. apparently it was a new Sky s/w download
