Default Sky+ time remaining on HD strangeness

For some reason, even though I only have 10% recorded on my hard drive,
it says time remaining at 20%. Any ideas what causes this and how to
fix? It seems like maybe some "invisible data" is on the hard drive
still and can't be erased?

do a clean up on the box by going to services, go to sytem setup, press 001
select and do a sky+ planner rebuild that should fix the problem, let me
know how you get on

Think you got a typo there, isnt it 401 select, not 001 select?

I tried the Sky Planner rebuild and the box shut down (I thought
restarting?)

When turned back on, the 9-10% is still missing....any other
suggestions??

try unplugging the box completely from the mains for one minute, plug back
in and then try a planner rebuild, if after that there is the other option
you can do is full reset, under the sky+ planner rebuild but what ever is on
the box or set to record will be lost, so its up to you, if you don't mind
losing everything, if you don't want to try that ring sky for advise

let me know how you get on
