Just wondering, what channels I could get with this set up, used in additon
to sky of course, which I already have!

for example if you point your new dish at 13 deg East "hotbird"

You can get BBC World, and lots of non english language channels many
of them news channels

Just had a look down the list of channels you get. There seems to be
hundreds. Does anyone have a setup which you can recieve this stuff on? Is
there actually anything worth watching on these foreign channels?

Football? Movies? Live gigs?

Likely to be some FA Cup, CL and internationals in the clear but no

Unlikely in English, occasionally might find one in English with
subtitles

Live gigs?

Some on the German/French channels
