Default Sky+ some recordings wont play

A few weeks ago my Sky+ box threw a wobbler all recordings were deleted,
anyway did a reset and everything was fine, today noticed 2 recordings (next
to each other on the planner) wouldn't play, then noticed % used for that
recordings was at 0%.
You think I've a dodgy part on my Hard Drive?

And am I being paranoid but whenever I get an extended warranty offer in the
post something goes wrong a few days later!

Possibly. Try a planner rebuild and, if that doesn't help, then try a
full reset (this will erase all your recordings). Both in the service
menu.

Thanks for that , will a planner rebuild erase the recordings as well?
If so I'll have to try and watch everything to clear it, could take a
while

yes. have you done a power off as well? Sometimes I think the software gets
screwed and a reboot might fix. (though it wont fix a 0% recording)
