Default Sky+ to PC - is it possible?

Is it possible to use a Hauppage WinTV USB gizmo to dump Sky+ programming
from the box to a PC either via the SCART connector or possibly the S-Video?

Has anybody done this or similar? What about quality drops if it has been
done?

Thanks

Rodger

I use Hauppage via s-video from my Sky+ and
also from Sky+ via scart to Panasonic DMR E55

Both result in excellent quality...

If you use SCART-HAuppauge WinTV PVR then you are only inputting composite.
Stick with s-video for superior picture quality.

But s-video is picture-only, surely?

You need to input the sound as well ;-) This is what most SCART connections
do - for example RGB + sound.

Gareth.

So? Thee is an stereo audio input on the card too for you to hook up to it. In
any case I only mentioned better picture quality & said nothing about audio:-)
